As is usually the case we will be having our annual wild game and fish party AKA FISH & FOWL FRY. There is a change in that it will NOT be held on Presidents Day weekend this year. The Saturday of President’s Day is Valentine’s Day this year which for some causes a problem apparently??? As always it will be at our house in Blue Springs. This year the official day will be on Saturday February 7th. As usual festivities will start on Friday 2/6 when we fire up the smokers!
If I am not mistaken this is F & F eleven. The party will start early on Friday morning when the smokers get fired up and end sometime on Sunday afternoon when the last of the out of town guests depart! Folks are welcome to bring family and guests. Please mark down the dates and do whatever you can to be present! I am reminding those who work weekends early this year so maybe if you would normally work that you can trade shifts or ask off! As always this party would not be possible without all the helping hands of those who pitch in to help! All donations of things to cook (usually wild game and fish - but it doesn't have to be), desserts and side dishes are gratefully accepted! Bring your own beverages. Fish & Fowl Fry 2014 was very well attended - Between Friday and Saturdays we believe there were over 120 attendees to the party! Hope you can make it! Not that I still believe the weather forecasters or their forecast.. but I hope its right! They are now predicting 55 and sunny for Saturday! Should be excellent for Fish and Fowl Eleven!
